Curaytor Convention! Meeting Lela Ashkarian

When I went to a Curaytor convention back in September, I was a little out of my element. I have not left the "kids", who are teens now, for years. This sweet lady was sitting at my table and we had an instant rapport. We both had lived "opposite lives". She sent me her book about her life in Beirut. I had been in Beirut at the same time as she had been there...hearing the shelling, seeing the devastation...even down to the same stormy boat ride out of Beirut to Larnaca, Cyprus. 

This was one of those moments you know God had his hands on this meeting. Lela Ashkarian-Taylor your story is amazing and you are such a strong woman to call my friend. It was years ago, but when I read your book, it took me back to a place where i still have friends I love. It is a story of love, strength of character and how she has risen to be a top agent in the Marathon Keys...love this. Susan Weinor
